Lawrence Harrington, Jr. is a highly accomplished public safety and security executive with more than forty years of distinguished leadership experience spanning law enforcement, healthcare security, private security operations, and military service. Throughout his career, he has earned a reputation for integrity, professionalism, operational excellence, and a steadfast commitment to protecting people, property, and critical infrastructure.
Mr. Harrington retired honorably from the Metropolitan Police Department (MPD) in Washington, DC, after more than three decades of dedicated service. Rising through the ranks to the position of Captain, he held numerous command-level assignments within the Sixth District, the Special Operations Division, and the Executive Office of the Chief of Police. During his tenure, he was responsible for supervising complex public safety operations, directing large-scale law enforcement initiatives, coordinating multi-agency emergency response efforts, and supporting high-profile national security events attended by government leaders, dignitaries, and the public.
As a senior law enforcement executive, Mr. Harrington developed extensive expertise in personnel management, operational planning, crisis response, risk mitigation, policy development, regulatory compliance, and strategic leadership. His ability to lead diverse teams under demanding circumstances earned him the respect of colleagues, public officials, and community stakeholders throughout the National Capital Region.
Following his distinguished law enforcement career, Mr. Harrington continued his commitment to public safety as Chief of Special Police at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, one of the largest healthcare institutions in the Mid-Atlantic region. In this role, he directed comprehensive security and public safety operations, overseeing Special Police Officers, emergency preparedness programs, access control systems, investigations, workplace violence prevention initiatives, and hospital-wide security strategies designed to protect patients, visitors, employees, and critical assets.
Today, as President and Chief Executive Officer of National Capital Protective Services LLC, Mr. Harrington leverages decades of executive leadership experience to build a security company founded on professionalism, accountability, and service excellence. Under his leadership, NCPS is committed to delivering customized security solutions tailored to the unique needs of multifamily housing communities, senior living facilities, commercial properties, government agencies, construction sites, healthcare environments, and special events throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.

Eric L. Henry is a security executive, law enforcement professional, instructor, and United States Marine Corps veteran with more than 15 years of experience in security operations, public safety, emergency response, and organizational leadership.
Born and raised in Prince George's County, Maryland, Eric developed a strong commitment to service and leadership at an early age. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps Infantry, serving as an Anti-Tank Assaultman, where he gained valuable experience in tactical operations, team leadership, and mission execution in high-risk environments.
Following his military service, Eric transitioned into the security profession as a Special Police Officer at MedStar Washington Hospital Center, where he developed expertise in healthcare security, investigations, emergency response, access control, and crisis management.
Throughout his career, Eric has advanced into executive leadership roles, overseeing security operations, personnel management, training programs, scheduling, payroll administration, contract management, and regulatory compliance. He is also a certified instructor with extensive experience training security professionals in firearms, use of force, defensive tactics, and officer development.
Today, Eric serves as Executive Assistant Chief of National Capital Protective Services LLC (NCPS), where he supports the company's strategic growth, operational management, personnel development, and client relations. His leadership is guided by professionalism, accountability, integrity, and a commitment to delivering exceptional security services throughout Washington, DC, Maryland, and Virginia.
